Our Lady of Grace Mission Church - Indian Land

St. Philip Neri and the Rock Hill Oratory currently sponsor a Mission Church, Our Lady of Grace. Under the guidance of St. Philip Neri’s pastor, Fr. John P. Giuliani, Our Lady of Grace was formally established as a Catholic Community and Mission Church in 2008. Located in Indian Land, SC, it lies approximately 30 minutes, or 15 miles southeast of St. Philip Neri.

The congregation began meeting in February 2008, with more than 250 people in attendance at Our Lady of Grace’s first mass. The congregation has continued to grow since that time, with the weekend masses regularly drawing more than 400 people. Membership is now estimated at 360 families.

In 2008, an anonymous donor gave 12 acres of land to the Catholic Community, on the condition that the property only be used for a Catholic church. The new church will be located on Hwy. 75, several miles from the Hwy. 521 intersection. The church will seat approximately 650 people, have nine multi-purpose rooms, a kitchen, offices for staff and a large multi-purpose room for parish events. The Mission Church kicked off a capital campaign in April 2012 for the purpose of raising funds for construction. Additional information may be obtained by calling the Parish House.
