According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, “Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other Sacraments. Through Baptism, we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: Baptism is the Sacrament of regeneration through water in the word.”
Private group baptisms are scheduled on the First and Third Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. The Parish’s Deacons are responsible for the private group Baptisms. Baptism during a particular Mass must be approved/cleared with the Parish Office in advance. Parents must attend a Baptism Class before their child is baptized. Baptism Classes are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Center. Please contact the Parish Office to register for the Baptism Class and for additional information.
